Today was a big day for me. I went in for my 2-month checkup
and received part I of my 2-month shots. Mommy and Daddy did a lot of research about
the shots I got today, and both decided the benefits outweigh the risks. Mommy
still worries, though.
I now weigh 12.8 pounds, and the doctor said I weigh more
than 89% of other babies my age. I grew to 23.5 inches, and I am taller than
85% of other babies my age. So, in other words: I am a big girl now! :) My doctor said I looked very healthy and was proud
of my progress. I can now hold my head up and turn it side to side. I am smiling
all the time and laughing, too.
I go back in 2 weeks to get the rest of my 2-month shots.
Mom says splitting them up is better so I am not getting so many at once. This way
if I have a reaction we have a better idea of which shot caused it. All I know
is that they hurt and going back in 2 weeks seems like double the pain to me. BUT,
mommy knows best. ;)
Well, all this writing plus my baby Tylenol has made me a bit sleepy. Think I’ll go take a nap in my swing with my favorite stuffed animal, Pups.
